Why Grok Build Exists
xAI's four continuing projects after the SpaceX merger were Grok, MACROHARD, Coding, and Imagine. Grok Build is the Coding line: a software-building product next to the conversational assistant and next to Imagine's image and video tools. Elon's stated aim on ease of use is not a developer-only niche:

No Build-only price or usage figure is published on this site. Grok subscriptions (SuperGrok Lite through SuperGrok Heavy) and developer API pricing are documented on the Grok explainer. This page does not assign those numbers to Build.
The State of Grok Build Today
V1.0 is released, as of August 2026. Elon has called it extremely powerful and said the team is working on making it super easy for non-technical people. Those are the primary-source facts. There is no independent user count on this site.
What Comes Next
Ease of use for non-technical people is the improvement Elon named in public. Grok 4.6 was described in August 2026 as coming later that week, in the same breath as a wider Grok Bot beta. This page does not treat that model as shipped without a later source.
